SPS Corporate Celebrates 30 Years of Innovation and Global Growth
PT Sun Paper Source (SPS Corporate) marked its 30th anniversary on October 7, 2025, with a ceremony in Mojokerto, East Java, attended by more than 700 guests including customers, suppliers, and government officials. The event also celebrated the inauguration of SPS’s major expansion project, officiated by the Governor of East Java, highlighting the company’s growing role in Indonesia’s industrial and manufacturing landscape.
The expansion introduces four new high-speed tissue machines, each capable of producing up to 20,000 tons per year, boosting SPS’s total tissue production capacity from 150,000 to 250,000 tons annually. The project also includes the launch of Converting Unit 2, an automated line designed to improve operational efficiency, product quality, and energy use. Together, these investments position SPS among Southeast Asia’s largest tissue producers and reflect its commitment to technological advancement and sustainability.
Looking ahead, SPS plans to double its total capacity to 500,000 tons per year by 2033 through additional production lines and infrastructure. The company is also strengthening global partnerships across the United States, Australia, the Middle East, India, and South Korea to enhance export capabilities and expand market reach. Through these initiatives, SPS reaffirms its long-term mission to grow responsibly while supporting Indonesia’s industrial progress and global competitiveness.
